Aug 1986 to now, Solar Energy Research Institute, Yunnan Normal University, China, professor, former Vice Director of the Institute, Former chairman of Committee of Renewable Energy of Mekong Region, general manager of Yunnan Zhuoye Energy Co. Ltd.
He has worked on thin film, crystalline silicon solar cells, photovoltaic power system, PV pumps, PV standards and published more than 100 papers. 114 PV pump systems have been built by his group with more than 3.5MW PV modules. Several new world records of the highest hydraulic head and maximum scale of PV pump system have created by his group.
