Yogendra Patwardhan

Bio:
Yogendra Patwardhan is currently Vice President at ABB India Ltd., responsible for Business Development of Emerging Technologies like Digital Substation, Mesh Communication, SmartCities ( including SmartGrids ) and Cyber Security in India.
A graduate in Electronics and Communications Engineering and postgraduate in Marketing Management, Yogendra has experience in Long Distance Communication business ( mainly Fiber Optics Communication and Power Line Carrier Communication ). He joined ABB (then Hindustan Brown Boveri) in 1986 in Mumbai and has since then handled various roles in Sales, Marketing and Business Development and was most recently Local Product Group Manager ( Business Manager ) for the Communication Networks business under Network Management, Power Systems from 2006 to 2014.
Yogendra has also worked with ABB Switzerland AG for more than a year in the Communication Networks business in Turgi, Switzerland during 1995/1996. Yogendra has gained experience and contributed to ABB’s operations mainly in India and served Customer interests in India and neighbouring countries i.e Nepal and Bhutan.
