Since 2008, Beau Damen has managed FAO’s regional program on bioenergy in Asia and the Pacific including implementation of regional and national projects on rural bioenergy development and bioenergy and food security. In 2011, Mr. Damen was also appointed FAO regional climate change coordinator. Before coming to FAO, Mr. Damen worked as part of both the major natural resource projects and alternative transport energy units within the Australian Government's Department of Resources and Energy.
