Call for Presentation TopicsAsia Clean Energy Forum 2013 Call for Presentation Topics The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) are pleased to announce a Call for Presentation Topics for the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2013.The Forum is an annual event that brings together hundreds of policymakers, project developers, investors and technical experts from around the region for Asia’s premier event for clean energy technology, policy, programs, and financing. This year, ACEF will take a fresh new approach to improve the effectiveness and outcomes of the week’s discussions. Unlike previous years, the 2013 ACEF will incorporate many of the previous side events into the main body of the Forum. This will allow for a more focused and condensed set of discussions on each of the main topic areas. The Forum will be structured to contain six thematic tracks, each with a Theme Chair responsible for developing the content and ensuring a clear set of messages from the theme. The final afternoon will be designed to have a report from each of the Theme Chairs, followed by a panel discussion on Asia’s clean energy priorities for 2014 and beyond. The six Thematic Tracks are:
The format of the Forum is a series of 90-minute sessions, during which officials, experts, and implementers make brief (10-12 minutes) presentations, followed by facilitated discussion. In order to solicit a wide range of input for the Forum, the organizers are issuing this open Call for Presentation Topics across the region, and internationally.
