About the Asia Clean Energy Forum
The Asia Clean Energy Forum, jointly organized by ADB and USAID, is the premier knowledge sharing platform for learning and exchange of experiences on key issues and latest developments in clean energy. Each year, clean energy stakeholders from different countries convene at the ADB Headquarters to network, discuss issues, exchange knowledge and do business. In 2013, ACEF will take a fresh new approach to improve the effectiveness and outcomes of the week's discussions. Unlike previous years, the 2013 ACEF will incorporate many of the previous side events into the main body of the Forum. This will allow for a more focused and condensed set of discussions on each of the main topic areas. The Forum will be structured to contain six thematic tracks, each with a Theme Chair responsible for developing the content and ensuring a clear set of messages from the theme. The final afternoon will be designed to have a report from each of the Theme Chairs, followed by a panel discussion on Asia's clean energy priorities for 2014 and beyond. The 8th Asia Clean Energy Forum will showcase distinguished experts from governments, financial institutions, project developers and service providers, civil society, academia, and international organizations in and around the region to share their valuable insights.
