Dr. Pushkala Lakshmi Ratan has been in the field of renewable energy for the last 12 years having started her career with the World Bank in Washington DC. She was subsequently Manager of the Carbon Advisory Business at Vestas Wind Technology in India before joining Deutsche Bank in Singapore as the Vice President for Environmental Financial Products. She is currently the Regional Vice President for Renewable Energy at TUV SUD Asia Pacific in Singapore. Her expertise spans across technical services, finance, economics, regulation and policy. Dr. Ratan has a Masters from The American University in Washington DC and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She has published several articles and papers and has presented at various business and academic conferences on renewable energy.
