Arjun Guha

Bio:
Arjun Guha is a Programme Officer in IRENA’s Knowledge, Policy and Finance Centre. Within the Finance Unit he is responsible for project development and project finance facilitation including developing upstream and downstream capabilities, resources and tools to improve the investment readiness of renewable energy projects.
Prior to IRENA, he was an Energy Specialist for 6 years with KFW, Germany′s development bank, leading the programming and implementation of the Indo-German Solar Partnership, a 1 Billion Euro programmatic approach to deploy development financing more efficiently to RE projects. In the past he was a global program manager at SunEdison responsible for reducing the cost of solar energy delivery.
He earned his MBA in Finance from the Indian School of Business and Electrical Engineering degree from Purdue University.
