ACEF 2017 will take place during the week of 5 to 8 June. The Main Forum will last two and a half days from 6 to 8 June, and will feature a combination of plenary sessions, presentations, and panel discussions. In addition, there will be several Deep Dive Workshops during 5 and 6 June hosted by ADB and partner organizations.
You can see an overview of the week by downloading the Week at a Glance. Below are brief summaries of the different types of sessions at ACEF. More details will be available on the website soon.
Deep Dive Workshops (DDWs): ACEF 2017 will feature several Deep Dive Workshops on Monday and Tuesday 5 and 6 June. Each DDW is organized by one or more ACEF partner organizations, and will provide participants with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of specific topics of interest.
Plenaries: ACEF will continue its tradition with opening and closing plenaries featuring prominent keynote speakers from the clean energy world.
Thematic Track Sessions: These sessions will feature presentations and moderated panels followed by Q&A with the audience. As in previous years, these sessions will be organized into four thematic tracks:
- Energy Efficiency
- Renewable Energy
- Energy Access
- Charting the Future of Clean Energy in Asia
Each Track will include five 90-minute sessions, each with either a series of short presentations or panel discussion followed by a facilitated Q&A session.
